Cheese Ball Recipes


Find below couple of my favorite Cheese Ball Recipes
Ingredients:

  • 1 pound bacon

  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened

  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise

  • 2 green onion, chopped

  • 1 cup chopped pecans

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
     

Preparation:

  1. In a large skillet fry the bacon.

  2. Remove the bacon from the skillet and drain on paper towels.

  3. Chop or break the cooled bacon into small pieces.

  4. In a medium-size mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, bacon, mayonnaise, and green onions, garlic powder and onion powder.

  5. When mixed well, form 2 balls out of the mixture.

  6. Cover and refrigerate 3 to 4 hours, or overnight.

  7. Before serving, roll the cheese balls in the chopped pecans.

  8. Serve alone or with crackers.

Serving size: 1 cheese ball

Ingredients:

  • 1 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 teaspoon minced garlic

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce

  • 1/3 pound shredded Cheddar cheese

  • 1/3 cup pecans, coarsely chopped

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Procedure:

  1. In an electric food processor or blender, combine cream cheese, garlic, Worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce. Blend well.

  2. Add Cheddar cheese and process until the Cheddar is fine, but still very visible.

  3. Shape the mixture into balls or logs. Wrap individually in plastic wrap and place in the freezer.

  4. While the balls are in the freezer, combine the ground pecans and parsley in a shallow bowl.

  5. Remove the balls from the freezer and roll them in the pecan and parsley mixture.

  6. Serve alone or with crackers.
